Health week “Zdoroveyka” in the preparatory group of kindergarten

The phrases “health-saving technologies” and “formation of a healthy lifestyle” have taken a strong place in conversations with parents and children, in the plans of educational work of teachers of preschool institutions. But the problem still remains relevant. How should you raise a child so that he understands the importance of health and knows how to treat it with care? Adults (teachers and parents) need to begin solving this problem from the earliest years of a child’s life, solving it systematically and together.

One form of child health care is a health week. Health Week is a variety of types of recreational activities, holidays, games, drawing competitions, entertainment with a valeological focus that give positive results in improving health and developing behavioral skills for a healthy lifestyle in preschoolers.

Health week “Zdoroveyka” is designed for 5 days. Each day has its own theme: “Cleanliness Day” , “To a fairy tale for health” , “I am friends with physical education both at home and in the garden” , “We invite all fathers and mothers to visit us” and “Vitamin Day” . Each day is divided into four parts according to the schedule. In the morning, calm games, corrective exercises, musical studies, didactic games, etc. are held. The middle of the day is full of active physical activity: integrated physical education classes, ball sports, competition games, conversations about a healthy lifestyle. The second half of the day is devoted to making emblems, reading literature, learning poetry, didactic games, etc. In the evening, joint activities are organized with parents: sports festivals, production of valeological newspapers, competition games, entertainment, musical leisure, etc. And, as practice has shown, promoting a healthy lifestyle among parents makes them try to pay more attention to their health and the health of their children: they do physical education with them, perform basic self-massages, corrective gymnastics, and enroll their children in sports clubs.

Throughout the health week, all classes are enriched with a valeological theme, richer gaming and sports material and are conducted in a variety of interesting forms..

All health week events contribute to the formation of a healthy lifestyle in children and the ability to properly take care of their health.
