Integration of educational areas

Modern requirements for the educational process in preschool educational institutions provide for integrative methods. Therefore, when preparing for an open lesson in a preschool institution and compiling notes, it is recommended to use material from various fields of knowledge. Thus, a mathematics lesson (senior group) according to the Federal State Educational Standard can combine such educational areas as artistic and physical development. Week of open classes in kindergarten

From March 19 to 23, kindergarten No. 18 “Beryozka” in Budyonnovsk hosted a week of open classes on speech development and literacy for children. Among the many important tasks of raising and educating preschool children in kindergarten, teaching their native language, speech development, and verbal communication is one of the main ones.

The event was timed to coincide with the teachers' council, the topic of which was “Speech development of preschool children in the context of the Federal State Educational Standard for Education”. All classes were held within the framework of the thematic week “Book Week”. The teachers developed and conducted open classes with children, which showed various forms and methods of working with books and literary works. The following tasks were set: introducing children to books to develop cognitive, creative and emotional activity, identifying children’s knowledge of children’s fairy tales through various types of games, cultivating a desire for constant communication with books and caring for them.

Direct educational activities covered pupils of all age groups, except for two, in which young novice teachers work. Throughout the week, educators attended their colleagues’ classes, exchanged experiences, and analyzed them. The classes were so interesting that the presence of guests - kindergarten employees - did not bother the children. The teachers formed a collective, sustainable interest. Each child was actively involved in the work, trying to prove themselves, to show their level of knowledge, skills and abilities.

All classes were held in a playful way. There were journeys through fairy tales, quizzes, riddles, puzzles, various word games, confusions. In all classes, the integration of various educational areas was observed - artistic and aesthetic development, physical development, speech development, cognitive development and social and communicative development. Throughout all classes, teachers tried to activate the children, develop the ability to maintain a conversation, and conduct a dialogue. All activities were aimed at increasing interest in the book. The children learned a lot about books; they themselves were authors of books, made little books, and illustrated them. As a result of the interesting, educational activities, the children's interest in the book increased, and the children received a lesson in caring for it.

All the activities carried out contributed to the development of children’s ability to express their thoughts and reason.
