All professions are needed, all professions are important

Erdenko Margarita Ivanovna Fatyanova Irina Genadyevna teachers MBDOU "Fedoseevsky kindergarten "Yablochko" Stary Oskol city district

The material participates in the Municipal practice-oriented competition of professional skills of preschool educational institutions teachers within the framework of the municipal scientific and practical seminar “Early career guidance of preschool children”

From early childhood, children dream of who they will become in the future. Some people dream of becoming a firefighter, a rescuer and saving people, or a police officer to catch criminals. Girls try on the role of teachers, doctors, and cooks. Helping a child’s dream come true is the main task of us, adults. In the kindergarten, all conditions have been created for the child to play the role of a fireman, policeman, doctor, teacher, cook, hairdresser, driver, etc. The groups are equipped with board games “Professions”, lotto, and theaters. Classes are also held where children talk about different professions.

It is not enough to list the names of professions; the child needs to be told about each profession individually and give examples from life. And parents will help teachers with this. On the way to kindergarten, you can tell your child about the bus driver. Explain how one becomes a driver, what responsibilities are assigned to him. When you meet a janitor, be sure to tell your child that this is very hard work and you shouldn’t litter on the streets, and be sure to throw the candy wrapper in the trash. This is how you develop in your child respect for other people’s work.

For older children, you can give them a more challenging task and force them to think. For example, ask them the question: “What professions should people work hard so that we can buy groceries in the store?”

  • – bakers who bake bread and rolls;
  • – farmers who raise animals and birds, and we eat eggs, cheese, milk, cottage cheese, meat;
  • – confectioners, make pastries and cakes;
  • – sellers, sell all these products for us;
  • - the driver delivers it all to the store.

And many other people of different professions.

You can read books about professions with your children or invite them to guess riddles, watch a cartoon, play the game “Continue the Sentence” - works at a construction site………………? – is he treated at the hospital………………….? – catches criminals………………? – are they working in the garden…………………? – Is the fire being extinguished………………………? – cuts…………………………….?

So that children can clearly see and appreciate the work of people of different professions, you can organize an excursion to a school, store, or library. Be sure to tell your child what profession their mom, dad, and grandparents have. Explain to your child what the essence of your profession is and what useful things you do.

In general, we can say that introducing children to professions is very important at a fairly young age, as this helps the individual to successfully socialize and find their place in society. There are many professions in the world, even children know this. And there are no unimportant professions - everyone will tell you this... Teach kids while playing!
