I offer a fragment of the thematic physical education lesson “School of Young Cosmonauts” for Cosmonautics Day in kindergarten.
Cosmonautics Day in kindergarten can be divided into several cognitive and creative blocks:
- Space knowledge: poems, riddles, stories about space and astronauts, educational conversations in which children learn about planet Earth, the Sun and stars, and space flights.
- Igrodrome: space games in kindergarten and relay races, competitions and quizzes.
- Exhibition of thematic drawings and crafts.
Task:
Thematic classes in kindergarten before Cosmonautics Day are introducing children to space in the form of a game. The scenario for a lesson in kindergarten can be different: a trip, a team competition, a flight to the Moon, to Mars, and so on. Imagine that you are future cosmonauts and we are going to the cosmodrome.
Progress of the sports festival.
The physical education instructor conducts exercises:
- We are going to the cosmodrome, We are walking in step together. We walk on our toes, we walk on our heels. So they checked the posture and brought the shoulder blades together (walking on toes, on heels). Let's run together guys - we all need to warm up.
- Hello guys. Do you want to become an astronaut? Did you know: in order to become a real astronaut, you need to be healthy, hardy, brave, dexterous, quick-witted and able to make decisions, because in space different situations can arise and you need to rely only on yourself.
Children answer:
- Of course we know!
What training should an astronaut undergo before a flight?
(children read poems about astronauts)
Reader 1:
- He is an example for all the guys, He is called a hero. An astronaut wears this title proudly. To become an astronaut, you have to work hard: Start the day with exercise, study well.
Reader 2:
- See a doctor - The exam here is strict. Star Roads are not for weaklings.
Only the strong and dexterous can be taken onto the ship. And that’s why you can’t be here without training.
Reader 3:
Ships launch into space - Following a daring dream! How great it is that we were able to escape into the vastness of the Universe! It’s still nice to recognize ourselves as residents in the Star House, to step into the Worlds as into rooms - through the threshold at the cosmodrome.
Physical instructor:
—Are you ready to take the test? Forward!
Outdoor game “Fast rockets are waiting for us”
Rocket hoops are laid out around the hall. There are several fewer of them than there are players. Children hold hands and walk in a circle saying:
— Fast rockets are waiting for us to fly to the planets. Whichever one we want, we’ll fly to that one! But there is one secret in the game: There is no room for latecomers!
After the last words, the children scatter and take places in the “rockets” (if there are many children, then two or three people can sit in one rocket) and take different space poses. Those who did not get a place in the rocket choose the most interesting and beautiful poses of the astronauts. Then everyone stands in a circle again and the game starts all over again.
SECOND STAGE - SPACE RIDDLES, FOR THE MOST ATTENTIVE AND SMART:
A chain of riddles about space for children.
To equip the eye And make friends with the stars, To see the Milky Way You need a powerful...
Telescopes have been used to study the life of planets for hundreds of years. Smart Uncle will tell us everything...

The rocket has a driver, a lover of weightlessness. In English: “astronaut”, And in Russian...
An astronaut sits in a rocket, Cursing everything in the world - In orbit, as luck would have it... Appeared...
A UFO flies to its neighbor from the constellation Andromeda, In it, out of boredom, an angry green one howls like a wolf...
The humanoid has lost its course, Lost in three planets, If there is no star map, Speed will not help...
Light flies the fastest, does not count kilometers. The Sun gives life to the planets, gives us warmth, tails -...
The comet everything and looked at everything in the sky. He sees a hole in space - It’s black...
In black holes the darkness is occupied with something black. There the Interplanetary completed its flight...
The spaceship is a steel bird, It rushes faster than light. Experiences the Stars in practice...
And the galaxies fly into the scattered as they want. Very hefty This whole universe!
TRAINING station
General developmental exercises
- Rockets fly up - arms through the sides up, claps 3 times above your head - 6 times.
- Rocket in space - feet shoulder-width apart, arms straight above your head, palms clasped. We bend to the right-left-back-forward - 6 times.
- The astronauts put on a spacesuit and fly into outer space - an imitation of putting on a spacesuit.
- Flying in zero gravity is an exercise in balance. Hands to the side. We alternately raise our legs, bent at the knees - 6 times.
- We quickly spin around in place, holding our arms to the sides, and stop at the stop signal with our eyes closed. Who will be able to maintain balance longer than others? Repeat 2 times.
Exercise for attention
- Lazy eights - we make eights with our hands in the air.
- The right hand makes circles to the left, the left – to the right.
- The right hand draws a triangle in the air, and the left hand draws a circle.
- The right leg draws squares in the air, and the left hand draws triangles.
Game "What has changed"
There are objects on the table: a thermometer, a pencil, a pen, a notebook, a compass. You need to look carefully at what is where. At the instructor’s signal, everyone turns away. They turn at a signal. To the question “what has changed,” children must answer
Physical school
— Cosmonauts need a special space suit - a spacesuit.
It protects the human body and allows you to breathe. We are also in space now and we are wearing spacesuits. — The astronauts have a helmet on their head (tilts and turns of the head).
— The overalls should be comfortable and not hinder movement (turns and tilts of the body).
— Hands are protected with gloves (rotation of hands, squeezing and unclenching of hands).
— Astronaut boots with very thick soles (walking in place, jumping).
— On the back behind the shoulders is a backpack with important devices and air cylinders (raising and lowering the shoulders, inhaling and exhaling)
Games, competitions, relay races on the theme “Space”.
Games, competitions, relay races for Cosmonautics Day Outdoor game “Fast rockets are waiting for us”
Attributes: hoops
Rocket hoops are laid out around the hall. There are several of them less than the number of children playing.
Children stand in a circle, hold hands and walk in a circle. Say the words:
Fast rockets are waiting for us
For flight to planets.
Whatever we want
Let's fly to this one!
But there is one secret in the game:
There is no room for latecomers!
Afterwards, the children run away and try to take a place in the rocket.
You can agree in advance that one rocket can accommodate, for example, 2 or 3 people, depending on the number of players. Those who do not have enough space are eliminated from the game. Competition “There is a lot of garbage on the space station”
Attributes: crumpled pieces of paper, wooden bricks, cardboard figures, 2 hoops
Rubbish is scattered on the floor.
Children are divided into 2 teams. At the leader’s command, they begin to collect garbage and take it to their garbage container - a hoop. At the end, the results are summed up: the number of collected items is counted. The team that collects the most garbage on the space station wins. Competition “Who can collect the most stars”
Attributes: rope, stars made of colored cardboard (yellow, red, blue and green, made using the origami technique), 4 baskets of the same colors, headbands in 4 colors.
Throughout the hall there are stars suspended from ropes.
Children are divided into teams, each team has a basket of a certain color, and children have colored headbands on their heads. Team of green, blue, red and yellow. At the leader’s command, the participants begin to collect stars, tearing them off the rope. Summing up, they check whether the stars are collected correctly by color and count their number. Game “Aliens and Earthlings”
(based on the principle of the game “We won’t tell you where we were, but we’ll show you what we did”)
Two teams of children are participating.
One team is the inhabitants of planet Earth, the other is aliens. In turn, each team guesses a movement, the other guesses. For example, children can make a wish that they have a stomach ache, that they are doing exercises, eating, sleeping, etc. Competition “Launch a rocket into space”
Attributes: 2 toys – winder with rockets
Children participate in pairs.
They are asked to wrap a string around a stick at speed, thereby lifting the rocket up, i.e., launching it into space. Relay race “Spacewalk”
Attributes: 2 tunnels, 2 large hoops
1 option
2 teams are participating. Children line up in 2 columns. This is 2 crews. There is a tunnel in front of each carriage. On command, team members climb through the tunnel one after another, run around it and return to their teams, standing at the end of the column.
Option 2
2 teams also participate. The crew of each team stands in a line, holding hands tightly. Teachers hold hoops at a distance of 2 m from each crew. The task of each team is to pass sideways through the hoop without releasing their hands. The team that completes the task first wins.
Zodiac constellations
Attributes:
pictures of constellations, push-button mosaic.
A conversation is held with children about zodiac signs and children’s birthdays. From the mosaic, each child collects his own zodiac sign.
Meteor Rain
Children gather on the carpet.
Let's turn on the music and dance. Suddenly there is a knock - we knock on something very loudly - it’s a meteor shower and we need to quickly hide - climb onto planets or rockets. The rain has stopped, everyone is walking and having fun again. Expedition to Mars
The teacher prepares in advance a long list of items that, in his opinion, must be taken with him on an expedition to Mars.
He quickly reads it out loud to the players once, and then asks them to stand in a circle and take turns naming one item from the list. The one who names something that was not on the list, or repeats it, “flies to Earth” - sits on the floor. The one who remembers the most items from the list wins. Stargazer
Children are located around the playing area in random order and squat.
They depict “stars,” but the “star” can only shine in a “standing” position. It is at this moment that the “stargazer” (driver), walking between the “stars,” must touch the player. If he managed to do this before the participant sat down again, then the “star” becomes a “stargazer”. Gagarin
Children stand in a circle and hold hands, forming an orbit. In the center of the circle there is one - “Gagarin”. From time to time, players raise and lower their hands. The task of “Gagarin” is to break out of the circle within one minute, that is, “fly out of orbit.” The presenter records the time and monitors compliance with the rules of the competition.
Weightless rocket
Blank sheets of paper are attached to a board or wall.
At the same time, they are secured in such a way that children can barely reach them with their outstretched hand. Assignment: draw a rocket. Children will have to jump to leave marks on whatman paper. But the rockets will turn out to be creative. The participant whose rocket seems the safest and most unusual wins. Confusion: jump and skip Children stand in a circle.
The teacher says: - Let's check your playful, jumping, jumping energy and cosmic attentiveness!
If I shout: “Jump,” then you, jumping, loudly and unanimously respond: “Jump!” And if I shout: “Jump!”, then you all jump up and answer: “Jump.” Do you remember? Begin! DOGGERS
Attributes:
skittles.
Game with pins. The game starts with 6 (4, 5, 7) people. They walk to the music around the 5 pins (3, 4, 6). As soon as the music stops, you need to grab the pin. Those who didn’t have time sit down.
Building a rocket
Attributes: paper towels.
“Building a Rocket” involves the participation of two children. One child stands with his arms outstretched and his palms clasped together to depict a rocket. Another child wraps paper towels around the rocket.
Spacewalk
A relay race is taking place. To do this, team members are lined up by height, with the tallest in front. The first child puts his left hand between his legs. The next one takes this hand with his right hand. The remaining participants continue the chain in the same way. The team that completes the chain first wins.
