what a beautiful city ours is in the autumn season. The children watched the leaves fall, what kind of leaves fall?

Breathing exercise

“Blow off a leaf”, “Blow off a drop”, “Falling leaves”.

Children really like unusual, funny fairy tales, stories about animals, plants, exhibitions of children's works and dramatization games:

Together with parents we held an exhibition of creative works on the theme: “Autumn Fantasies”

Together with children and parents, we designed an exhibition of drawings on the theme: “Autumn Sketches”

We held theatrical games - dramatizations based on the works “Turnip” and “Teremok”

Organized a creative workshop

Drawing

: “The beauty of autumn leaves”

Modeling

: “Big and small carrots”, “Apples and berries” - plasticineography.

Design and manual labor:

“There is a teremok-teremok standing in the field” (small builder),

“A Tale in the Autumn Forest” (natural material), “Hedgehog with supplies” (natural material)

By coming into contact with the world of public life and the natural world, the child learns the rules of behavior on the street, in nature, so a targeted walk was carried out in the autumn park on the topic:

“It’s autumn, I’ve been walking around the garden!” During the target walk, we had a conversation - a discussion on the topic: “Colors of autumn!”

and repeated the poem by E. Blaginina “Autumn has come!” Established rules of behavior in nature:

Children should walk in the park only with adults and protect nature

Must follow the rules of conduct in the park (do not trample, do not tear plants, do not put things in your mouth)

Social and communicative development:

Labor education:

collecting natural material on a walk (flower seeds, unpacking seeds into boxes, collecting fir cones), leaves on the topic: “Beautiful autumn bouquet”

group decoration for the holiday “Golden Autumn has come to visit us.”

Plot-role-playing games:

“Masha’s doll’s birthday”; Dramatization games: “Turnip”, “Teremok”.

Entertainment "Autumn Meetings".

Joint events between teachers and parents:

— organizing exhibitions of children's works: drawings, applications, crafts made from natural materials.

— organization of joint work activities of parents and children on the territory of the preschool educational institution

- selection of theoretical material on the topics: “Autumn”, “Trees”, “Flowers”, “Vegetables”, “Fruits”.

- design of an Autumn corner with a selection of thematic material - “How we welcome autumn.”

Events to work with teachers:

- widespread use of toys, dolls, fruits and vegetables, demonstration and handout materials, in accordance with the theme of the project; use of presentations in work; design of exhibitions of children's works.

A great time to explore the gifts of nature

A few words about nostalgia. Our parents had a hard time coming up with craft ideas. They dried leaves with us, collected acorns and cones. Each time we tried to come up with an interesting idea for a DIY craft. With work and worries there was not much time to fantasize. If someone had a manual with examples of crafts at home, that person was lucky.

Now there is the Internet. All you have to do is enter the query correctly into the search engine, and it will return a ton of pictures. There is colorful and accessible literature with photos, ideas and step-by-step work. I would like to recommend manuals that will teach you how to use fruits and vegetables to your advantage:

  • “Figured cutting of vegetables and fruits. Lessons for beginners." This is the very popular carving that helps decorate the table during the holidays.
  • "Original decorations from vegetables and fruits." It will help surprise guests and delight children. Especially those who don’t eat anything - maybe these decorations will spark interest in the dishes.

When else to use the gifts of nature, if not in the fall. When else to study fruits and vegetables, if not in September-October. They beckon with their bright colors. In October, an autumn festival is held in the garden. And it’s time to teach the younger group the names of vegetables and fruits. Although, if there are bright models that you can play with (as in this set), you can transfer classes to the winter.

I will recommend several aids that will actively help kids remember the names of fruits and develop fine motor skills:

  • Bright coloring book with stickers “The World of Vegetables and Fruits”.
  • A wonderful educational book with stickers of berries, vegetables and fruits, it will be good for home games.
  • An applique kit made from paper strips that perfectly develops fine motor skills.
  • Another set for applique, but made of plastic figures. Suitable for babies, safe in terms of size and material.
  • Educational cards with a variety of gifts from the garden and vegetable garden.
  • CD with colorful images of the gifts of the garden. Will become an assistant to teachers, speech therapists, and parents.
  • Two notebooks for children's development with the topics "Fruits" and "Vegetables". Contains educational information and interesting tasks.

Compositions with pumpkins: room for imagination

I think pumpkin is underrated in crafts and arrangements. It is not necessary to make carvings on it in the Halloween style, but it can be used as a basis for a composition. For example, like a bowl or vase (this is exactly what is shown in the photo for my competition). What if you make a carriage out of a pumpkin, like in the fairy tale “Cinderella,” and harness it with mice? And put a rat coachman on the box.

A light pumpkin can be stenciled with autumn leaves. A preparatory or intermediate group can handle this. Or stick chrysanthemums and asters on it like a continuous carpet. Or make a miniature applique of acorns, rowan berries and leaves on the pumpkin. Such a project can be sold at a fair; it will become an atmospheric interior decoration. The simplest composition option for an exhibition is to place seasonal fruits and vegetables on a pumpkin “plate”.

Small decorative pumpkins can be turned into funny little animals or people. Or build a city out of them where pumpkins will be homes. Use a felt-tip pen to draw doors and windows. You can even make curtains from pieces of white lace. And plant trees on pumpkin street from dried leaves. If possible, offer to make houses for each child. Build a street out of them on the shelf with crafts in the preschool educational institution and name it by the name of the group. What do you think of the idea?

What materials to use for crafts

Let's briefly look at what materials are suitable. Firstly, any gifts from gardens, vegetable gardens and forests. Even in city parks you can find a lot of interesting things. Of course, it all depends on where you live. Think about what natural materials you have for creative activities at home and in kindergarten:

  • Fresh vegetables, fruits and berries. Recently I was surprised by a zucchini plane. And wreaths and bouquets of rowan berries are incredibly beautiful.
  • Nuts and other dried fruits (chestnuts, acorns, cones).
  • Multi-colored dry leaves and flowers. They can be tinted with paints.
  • Seeds of trees and plants (pumpkin, ash, maple, sunflower, watermelon).
  • Dried cobs and corn kernels (the latter are best not given to small children).
  • Pieces of birch bark (birch bark), bark of other trees, twigs, roots, straw.

All this can be supplemented with other materials: threads, cardboard, fabric, paints. For gluing at home, you can use a glue gun, or in a group - plasticine. Here are some ready-made ideas for compositions. Go for it!

What can be made from leaves

Yes, anything! Autumn leaves are a very beneficial ornamental material. And, besides, it’s very easy to make all sorts of crafts from them: you just need a little effort and skill. And, of course, creative imagination. And the end result is these works of art.

Birds made of leaves. It’s easy to make a bird from just a few leaves, skillfully connecting them to each other...

Or - from many leaves. Here, of course, you have to try, although the process itself is not difficult. Here, for example, is how an owl is made from many leaves:

  • Draw the outline of an owl on a piece of paper or cardboard. If we don't know how to draw, it doesn't matter. Download the owl from the Internet, print it out, cut it out, attach it to a sheet of paper, trace it with a pencil;
  • We cover the drawn outline with autumn leaves. These are owl feathers;
  • Cut out eyes, beak and paws from colored paper and glue them to the appropriate places.

In any case, you will get a wonderful owl - like in these photos.

Various animals made from leaves. Nothing complicated either.

Pictures from leaves. It is especially good to make landscapes out of them. Look at these photos - really, nothing complicated? They can be made on paper, or you can make appliques. And we fill in the missing details and strokes with paints, colored pencils or felt-tip pens.

Portraits from leaves. They are done like this:

  • First, on a sheet of paper we draw a face or the entire human figure. Or - we apply a cut out stencil to the sheet and trace it with a pencil;
  • but we make hair and clothes from autumn colorful leaves, berries or grass, gluing them to the appropriate places;
  • From the leaves we make the surrounding landscape (if there is such a creative need): trees, grass, clouds, etc. Or we finish painting them with paints.

What can be made from acorns

A wide variety of crafts are made from these gifts of autumn nature.

For example, these are such funny little people. They can be made in a single copy...

Or a whole group. Or you can even create a real three-dimensional plot picture, adding other natural attributes: twigs, moss, berries, birch bark, etc.

The most important thing is that making such little people is very simple. One larger acorn is the body, a smaller acorn is the head, matches, toothpicks or twigs are the arms and legs, the acorn cups are the headdresses, and the smaller cups are the eyes.

And all sorts of funny animals and birds are made from acorns, which are no more difficult to make than little men.

And also, from this wonderful autumn gift, if you wish, you can make such spider bugs. We choose acorns, select suitable branches that will be the legs, horns and antennae of the bugs, glue them to the right places - and the job is done. Beauty!

But that's not all. Acorns, acorn caps and plasticine make wonderful dishes. For example, a miniature tea set is just like a real one. You can even store jam and sugar in saucers, and drink tea from cups. Well, isn't it a miracle?

What can be made from pine cones

The cones are just begging to be used to make a wide variety of crafts. Any pine cone is beautiful in itself, and if you put a little effort and imagination into it, you will be able to make countless wonderful crafts from it.

Here are just a few of the crafts that are just begging to be made.

Hedgehogs made from cones. This is, one might say, a classic of the genre. This cute animal can be made from one single pine cone...

You can - from a pine cone and plasticine...

You can - there are many of them. To do this, you first need to sculpt a hedgehog from plasticine, and then stick it with small pine cones with the scales facing out. As a result, the scales will turn into real needles.

If desired, one of these methods can be used to make a subject picture - a family of hedgehogs in the interior.

It’s easy to make a beautiful spider from a pine cone, blue wire and purchased eyes.

From it, with a little imagination, it’s easy to make a funny little man.

And from a fir cone and plasticine you can make a wonderful hare. Looking at this photo, it immediately becomes clear how to make such a bunny.

Well, what should you make a graceful swan from plasticine and a pine cone?

And even a beautiful bear. True, here you need a few cones, a thin wire and ordinary twine. The bear is made like this:

  • take a big lump;
  • We attach a smaller cone on top of it using wire. This is the head of the future bear;
  • in order to also get a bear's muzzle, the cone-head must be attached not vertically, but horizontally;
  • On the sides of the cone-body we attach two smaller cones - arms;
  • At the bottom of the body cone we attach two more cones - legs;
  • wrap the torso and head with twine;
  • From the twine we make two loops on the head - ears.

The bear should look something like the one in the photo below.

And from the cones, if you work on them a little, you get excellent flowers. To turn a pine cone into a flower, you need:

  • pick up open pine cones;
  • prepare long, pointed pieces of strong wire or metal knitting needles;
  • Use paints to paint the pine cones in different colors. Or you don’t have to paint it - the already open pine cones resemble blooming flowers;
  • insert a wire or knitting needle into the back of the pine cone. It turns out a flower on a stem;
  • and to make the product look even more like a flower, the wire or knitting needle needs to be wrapped in green paper, gluing its ends so that it holds.

That's all. These flowers, if you add twigs, leaves or grass to them, will make an excellent autumn bouquet. We put it in a vase and enjoy. In addition, the bouquet will be an excellent interior decoration.

What can be made from nuts

Well, it’s impossible to list all the crafts here. Therefore, we will only talk about a few.

If you add cones to walnuts, the result will be these funny little people.

Or - almost the real Serpent Gorynych.

But don’t you want such a bug made of walnut, plasticine and ordinary sticks? Well, just make it, there is absolutely nothing difficult here. But - what a beauty!

Well, off the top of my head, here are photos of some more crafts made from nuts.

What can be made from chestnuts

And a lot of things. Here are just a few examples of crafts made from this gift of autumn nature.

Cute caterpillar. There is nothing easier to do it:

  • selecting suitable chestnuts;
  • We drill through holes in each of them. If it is difficult for the child to do this himself, let one of the elders help him;
  • take a thin soft wire, fishing line or thick thread and string drilled chestnuts on them;
  • the largest chestnut should be on one edge - this is the head. And the smallest one - on the other edge - is the tail;
  • at the end of the outer chestnuts we make knots so that the fruits do not slip into fishing lines, wires or threads;
  • We glue store-bought or plasticine eyes onto the head - that’s the whole caterpillar.

How do you like this chestnut spider? There is no need to tell you how to make it, just look at the photo.

In addition, chestnuts make wonderful animals.

What can be made from pumpkin

Not to mention crafts made from autumn gifts from fields, gardens and vegetable gardens is impossible. You can make really wonderful crafts from them!

For example, a pumpkin will turn into a wonderful beast if you work on this vegetable a little with a knife. The matter, of course, is quite complicated and even dangerous (after all, it’s a sharp knife), but the result is worth it. Just look at these carvings!

Or you can do without a knife, but simply select suitable pumpkins and use paints and a brush to draw funny faces on them.

Well, there’s no need to talk about pumpkin masks dedicated to Halloween. This is, one might say, a “pumpkin classic.”

It’s also not too difficult to make a house out of a pumpkin and place some fairy-tale creature in it.

Or a fairytale carriage.

What can be made from corn cobs

Corn cobs are also good for crafts. For example, it is easy to make a wonderful racing car from a cob. The wheels on it are made of chestnuts, and the passengers of the car are made of the same fruit.

And what wonderful cyclops are made from corn cobs! Here, take a look. Moreover, making them is as easy as shelling pears; even a three-year-old child can handle the craft.

What can be made from seeds

Any seeds are equally suitable for crafts: beans, peas, beans, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, etc. Each of them (or all of them together) makes wonderful, highly artistic crafts. First of all, the panel. Here are just a few examples.

Snail. It's done like this:

  • cut out the snail's body from cardboard;
  • we draw eyes and a mouth with a felt-tip pen, and we make them with threads or blades of grass and glue horns to the head;
  • we make a snail house from different seeds: beans, vetch, peas, sunflower seeds, etc.;
  • This is very simple to do - you just need to artistically stick all these seeds on the back of the snail.

Other images are made in exactly the same way. Yes, the work is delicate, careful and requires patience, but this is how real works of art are obtained, which will then decorate the premises and which can be given as gifts.

Panels of other autumn gifts

By the way. Amazing panels can be made not only from seeds, but also from other autumn gifts of nature. Here, for example, is a wonderful craft that can be made from ordinary acorn caps and an oak leaf. Simple and tasteful. You only need:

  • take a rectangular board or piece of plywood;
  • cover it with canvas;
  • Glue acorn caps in several rows along the entire perimeter of the board. Makes a wonderful picture frame;
  • Glue any autumn detail to the center of the board. For example, as in the photo below, an oak leaf and a twig. Or something else is possible - no one limits the flight of creative imagination.

There is no shame in even placing such a product at an exhibition.

Twigs, twigs, pebbles, shells...

All of these are also wonderful materials for various crafts. Here, for example, are the types of deer that can be obtained from ordinary trimmings of twigs, sticks and twigs.

And these are amazing panels made from pebbles and round logs. Yes, this work is highly artistic, and something may not work out on the first try. But who is stopping you from making a second and third attempt? True beauty is rarely achieved immediately; it takes a lot of work.

Shells also make a variety of beautiful products. For example, here is a boat with sails.

Or - such crafts.

And the stones make such masterpieces.

And also all sorts of insect crafts

The most remarkable thing is that they can be made from almost all autumn craft materials listed in our article: from acorns, nuts, chestnuts, pebbles, seeds, shells, needles, leaves. And if you add to this a little universal craft material - plasticine, then look what a miracle you get!

In general, let's create! Moreover, autumn is here. To make creating easier and more joyful, watch these videos.
