Children, to the music of the Russian song “Vologda Lace,” enter the hall in a chain in Russian national costumes. They change lanes, disperse to the right - to the left through the center, come together in pairs, “rivulets”, and line up in a semicircle and read the poems by I. Tsekovich “When the branches cry”
Children: The clouds are spinning,
Gathering in flocks,
The road runs into the distance
Wet, empty,
And the leaves turn yellow
In a dark alley.
The sky is getting darker
And she is lighter.
What are the leaves whispering there?
Let's come and ask.
Leaves answer:
"Autumn!
Autumn!
Autumn!"
But the time comes
The yellow leaves are falling,
The paths are paved
Precious silk
Clouds are rolling down from the mountains,
The birds are hidden somewhere
The branches are getting stronger
They're crying
They're crying
They're crying...
Song: “Autumn has come” Lyrics. and Mus. WITH . Nasaulenko
Children sit down to the music.
Musical director:
Summer has just flown by
Together we got down to business!
We have reaped all the harvest,
We've been waiting for this holiday for a long time!
We must work in the fall,
Everyone should know about this.
If you decide to be lazy -
You'll starve through the winter!
In the fall, a large harvest must be stored in the cellar for a long time - potatoes, beets, carrots, onions. And tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini are rolled into jars. Our guys know how to cook vegetable soup.
Children: The hostess came home from the market one day, The hostess from the market brought home: Potatoes,
Cabbage, Carrots,
Peas, Parsley and beets. Oh!... So the vegetables started a debate on the table - Who is better, tastier and more necessary on earth: Potatoes? Cabbage? Carrot? Peas? Parsley or beets? Oh!... Meanwhile, the hostess took a knife and began to chop with this knife: Potatoes, Cabbage, Carrots, Peas, Parsley and beets. Oh!... Covered with a lid, in a stuffy pot Boiled, boiled in boiling water: Potatoes, Cabbage, Carrots, Peas, Parsley and beets. Oh!... And the vegetable soup turned out to be not bad
Musical director:
There are peas in the vegetable soup. And our children know Russian folk songs.
“Petya walked along the road” and will perform it on metallophones
Children sing and play the melody of the song.
Petya walked along the road,
He found a pea.
And the pea fell
She rolled and disappeared.
Oh oh! Oh oh!
Peas will grow somewhere!
Musical director:
Now, I will tell you and show you how cabbage was prepared in the old days.
Show presentation. Slide 1
In the fall in Rus' at this time they celebrated a holiday - the Exaltation. At this time, there is a rapid onset of cold weather, the end of harvesting, and the birds begin to fly away. On Exaltation, animals prepare for winter, snakes crawl into heaps and hide in the ground along ravines. This is considered the third meeting of autumn...
Slide 2
. People have come up with many sayings about this holiday.
— Exaltation moves heat, but cold pushes.
— The rise moves autumn towards winter.
At this time, one of the most important jobs for village women begins - chopping cabbage and preparing it for the winter. Many sayings are devoted to these works:
“On the Exaltation, the first lady is cabbage”
“On the Exaltation, a good fellow has cabbage on the porch”
“A good man has cabbage pie on Vozdvizhenev Day”
Girls' parties began - cabbage parties, cabbage parties, cabbage evenings. Chopping cabbage is not a simple job, but a whole ritual, and it was performed with different songs and was accompanied by treats in the evenings. And you and I have gathered here for gatherings - skit parties.
Summer rain with a soft paw, stroking the vegetables in the garden. As soon as he touches the cabbage, the cabbage springs up: The leaves are white and juicy, curls into heads of cabbage.
Don't judge the cabbage harshly because it has a lot of clothes on it.
Slide 3. Cabbage has always been one of the first places on the Russian menu among other vegetables. It was and is widely used for cooking. Which? Name cabbage dishes you know.
(Children and parents name cabbage dishes).
Slide 4. Cabbage dishes.
Slide 5. Types of cabbage.
Slide 6. Our ancestors knew a lot about the healing properties of cabbage. Thus, in ancient Russian medical books we read: “Pressed cabbage, mixed with egg white, and then applied to any burn, and so their ulcers heal.”
Slide 8. In the old days in Rus', “cabbage garden” was the name given to a garden where cabbage was grown. It was the most beloved vegetable in Rus'; it was not without reason that it was called the “first lady” in the village.
(showing cabbage seeds)
Slide 9. Cabbage has long been treated with almost religious adoration. The day of the Exaltation holiday was almost universally considered the date of the beginning of the cabbage harvest. It was fermented, salted, and various dishes were prepared from it on this fast day.
Slide 10. Our ancestors have been growing cabbage since the 9th century and were the first to invent a method for fermenting it. Cabbage was fermented with whole heads of cabbage, shredded, and chopped. There were white and gray sauerkraut. The first was prepared from white cabbage according to recipes that have remained virtually unchanged to this day. The second - gray - was obtained from the same raw materials, but a layer of cabbage was sprinkled with rye flour along with salt. In this case, if there was not enough juice under pressure, rye kvass was added to the barrel to improve fermentation. Perhaps this was the oldest, original method that gave cabbage the name “sauerkraut,” i.e. “seasoned with kvass.”
Slide 12. For chopping cabbage, each house had a special trough, which was not used for anything else, and a special knife was called a chop. Other devices were also used - a shredder - a special machine for shredding, i.e. cabbage slices in the form of shavings, and a wooden pestle.
Slide 13. First, the heads of cabbage must be washed and cleaned of damaged and limp leaves. Having cut out the stalk, the heads of cabbage need to be chopped or shredded on a special shredder. Mix the shredded cabbage thoroughly with salt and shredded carrots in a wooden or enamel container.
Slide 14. Place the prepared cabbage in a tub, barrel or glass jar, tamping each new portion with a wooden pestle or other blunt object until abundant juice comes out.
Slide 15. Cabbage was fermented with caraway seeds, celery, dill, and juniper berries. If desired, you could add seasonings, allspice, bay leaves, and cranberries to the cabbage. Together with chopped cabbage, whole white heads of cabbage were fermented, as well as cucumbers of the last harvest and apples.
Slide 16. It’s good to lay green cabbage leaves on top of the cabbage. Cover the cabbage with a white cotton cloth, and place a wooden circle with pressure on it, under a press. For oppression, it is better to choose large round stones, such as are found along the banks of rivers. After some time, under the weight of oppression, the cabbage will settle and become covered with brine. If the brine does not come out, the load should be increased. The fermentation process lasts about a week at a temperature of 18–20°.
Slide 17. As soon as foaming bubbles begin to appear on the surface, the cabbage must be pierced in several places with a sharp long stick - a sharp birch stake (to the bottom). Gases produced during fermentation will escape through these punctures. In a couple of days you need to make new punctures. When the cabbage turns white (and this usually happens a week after salting), it should be transferred from a warm room to the cellar, and glass jars to the refrigerator. At this point, the process of preparing cabbage can be considered complete.
Slide 18. Proverbs about cabbage. (parents read in turn)

Without potatoes, bread and cabbage - what food.
Don't meddle with the cabbage until they let you in.

There was a child - he did not know diapers, he became an old man - a hundred diapers on him.
