BELARUS – BLUE EYED

Once upon a time there lived a girl. Her hair was long, long and white, white.

If she takes a comb and combs them, the sun will shine with bright rays above the earth. If he braids his hair, the frost will crackle, rivers and lakes will be covered with ice, giant pines and sorcerer oaks will stand in white caps of snow.

She waves her right hand - the girls run to the meadows to weave wreaths of dandelions and daisies; waves his left hand - the grandparents are carrying baskets full of red strawberries, raspberries and mushrooms from the forest.

A beautiful girl will come into the forest and scream

a gray bunny will gallop towards her, a red fox will come running, a white stork will fly in.

Once upon a time, guests from different overseas countries came to visit the girl. She seated them at oak tables, laid linen tablecloths, clapped her hands once - pots full of hot potatoes appeared on the table, clapped them twice - jugs of fresh milk appeared, clapped them three times - out of nowhere, heavy tree branches bent right towards the table , strewn with ruddy aromatic apples and pears.

Curious ant

Once upon a time there lived a little ant in his little anthill. He carried grass and twigs and thought that his country was just as small.

One day he saw a big dove and asked it:

— Is it true that our country is so small?

- No, she is very big and beautiful. Do you want to look at her?

“Then get on my back and fly.”

As they flew, the ant saw green forests, clean rivers and lakes, tall houses, and flat fields.

And when the ant flew home, he told everyone how big and beautiful our country is.

Belarus blue-eyed

The stork family gave birth to chicks, two boys and one girl. Mom and dad spent the entire summer preparing their chicks for the long flight. When it was time to fly away, the father told his children. We have a difficult flight ahead. This is an exam both for mom and me and for you. When we arrive at your destination, in warmer climes, another exam awaits you. You need to tell new friends about your homeland. I am interested to hear what you, my children, can tell about your native land. The chicks thought. Here's what they said.

In the morning, dew drops, like small rainbows, glitter and shimmer on the leaves of daisies and clover. And when flax blooms, it seems that the sky has fallen to the ground. The fields smell of honey and buckwheat. In the forests, giant oaks hum, squirrels jump on the branches of centuries-old pines and spruces. Bridal birch trees bend in the wind, sister aspen trees rustle with their leaves. There are a lot of berries and mushrooms in the forests. In the swamp, frogs talk loudly and croak, and in the fall the cranberries ripen and then it seems as if the ground is strewn with scarlet beads. From a bird's eye view you can watch fish splashing in the lake, their scales sparkling in the sun. A mother bear and her cub feast on raspberries, papa wolf teaches wolf cubs how to hunt, how foxes dig a hole and an elk makes its way through the thicket. And people also help us storks. They build nests for us, and took us under their guard. Like many other animals and plants.
