Teacher's Day (September 27)
The date coincides with the opening of the first kindergarten in Russia on Vasilievsky Island in St. Petersburg, which happened on September 27, 1863. The holiday is still celebrated quite rarely, although it appeared in 2004.
How to do it:
- Organize an open day in kindergarten for mothers and little ones, in which children from older groups can take an active part.
- Hold a creative competition dedicated to teachers and kindergarten. Drawings, applications, collages, modeling - the more nominations, the better.
What to give to the teacher:
- It is better to focus on a specific person, especially if you have known your child’s teachers for a long time. A thoughtful gift is always better than another vase.
- In addition to a gift from adults, it’s a good idea for kids to also give something of their own – a drawing or a signed postcard.
Easter (floating date)
Easter in kindergarten, like Christmas, is not always celebrated. But if you decide to spend this bright day in a special way, there are many ways to entertain the children and make the holiday memorable.
How to do it:
- Organize a master class on decorating eggs.
- Draw the Easter bunny.
- Read Easter stories with your children.
- Arrange a quest to find chocolate eggs.
What to give:
- Easter cakes, eggs, painting kits.
- Chocolate Easter bunnies and eggs.
Maslenitsa (floating date, usually February)
A holiday of farewell to winter, with a rich history and traditions.
How to do it:
- Make a Maslenitsa scarecrow with your group (but no fire shows!).
- Tell the children about the history of the holiday.
- Hold a holiday in the group with outdoor games and round dances.
- Ask the chef to bake pancakes or pancakes.
What to gift:
- A good holiday mood, a walk or a trip with the family to Maslenitsa festivities.
Defender of the Fatherland Day (February 23)
It so happened that on this day we congratulate not only those who served, but also men in general. When the kids grow up, they will decide for themselves who they should celebrate this day with, but for now, in childhood, a holiday is never superfluous.
How to do it:
- Organize a creative competition with portraits of dads, grandfathers and older brothers.
- Prepare gifts for your family with your children.
What to gift:
- For fathers and grandfathers - handmade cards and crafts.
- For boys - cars, swords, figurines of their favorite superheroes and game and cartoon characters.
- For male employees of the garden - pleasant little things, postcards, diaries, sports equipment, books. Just don’t need shaving foam, socks, or even expensive razors.
